Jacob Slattery is the Digital Media and Promotion Manager of The Leonard Bernstein Office where he endeavors to introduce new generations to the legacy and lifework of Leonard Bernstein.
Throughout the planning and actualization of Leonard Bernstein at 100, the two-year celebration surrounding the Maestro’s hundredth birthday, Slattery has collaborated with performing arts institutions and venues including the New York Philharmonic, Carnegie Hall, LA Phil, The Kennedy Center, Lincoln Center, The Philadelphia Orchestra, Vienna Philharmonic, Boston Symphony Orchestra, Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, San Francisco Symphony, Royal Ballet, LA Opera, BBC Symphony Orchestra, Jazz at Lincoln Center, Komische Oper Berlin, National Symphony Orchestra, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, Jakarta Simfonia Orchestra, Pacific Music Festival, and others; museums and educational institutions including the Google Cultural Institute, Grammy Museum, Curtis Institute of Music, New York Public Library, El Sistema USA, The Library of Congress, Skirball Cultural Center, New England Conservatory, Jewish Museum Vienna, National Museum of American Jewish History, Paley Center for Media, among others; and recording and publishing industry partners Boosey & Hawkes, Deutsche Grammophon, Sony Classical, Naxos, Warner Classics, Hal Leonard, Apple Music, Music Theatre International, Tams Witmark, Universal Music Publishing Group, Unitel Classica, Decca, and Universal Music.
In addition to his work with The Leonard Bernstein Office, Slattery is also a freelance oboist and occasional writer, with bylines in Bachtrack and TEMPO. He holds degrees in Music Performance (Oboe) and Marketing from Augsburg University.
