Céline Boulben (Age: 32)
Céline Boulben, a native of Paris, France, began her formal training in violin, piano and vocal performance at the Maîtrise de Chartres School. She then graduated with a degree in violin performance at the National University of Music in Bucharest, Romania, where she studied with Stefan Gheorghiu.
In Europe, Ms Boulben served as the assistant principal second violin in the Orchestre de Limoges et du Limousin (France), and performed chamber music in the Cathédrale de Chartres (France), Transylvania Philharmonic Hall in Cluj Napoca (Romania), the Institut Francais of Bucharest (Romania), the George Enescu Music Hall in Bucharest (Romania).
After moving to New York, Céline Boulben has remained as an active performer in various musical styles. Ms. Boulben has often appeared in performances with orchestras and chamber ensembles. Recent performances include Albany Symphony, New England Symphonic Ensemble at Carnegie Hall, Concertmaster for The Prelude to Performance Orchestra, amongst others. Céline also performs regularly on Broadway shows, and has been part of recordings for various musical projects and film.
