Miu was born in Tokyo on February 28, 2000. She has lived in Tokyo, Japan. Started to study music at Yamaha Music School, and has studied piano since the age of 5. Currently, she is a freshman of Tokyo University of the Arts Faculty of Music, and has studied with Prof. Akira Eguchi of Tokyo University of the Arts Faculty of Music since 2015, and has studied with Prof. Etsuko Terada who has been acclaimed as a pianist since 2013, in private.

At the age of 8, she won top honors for his age group at the PTNA Piano Competition of Japan, then, won numerous national competitions. Recently, in November 2017, won frst prize at the Tokyo International Piano Competition (15-18 years old), and in October 2017, won the 2nd prize at Concert Marronnier 21 (15-34 years old), in August 2016, won the fourth prize at the PTNA Piano Competition (Category up to 22 years old). She joined the Doryard Piano Academy in 2017 and won the first prize, and received a scholarship from the International Exchange Foundation. In 2014, 2013, and 2012, joined Interharmony Music Festival in Sulzbach-Rosenberg, Germany, performed solo and chamber music at the winners’ concerts. And her Carnegie’s Weil Recital Hall debut was at the age of 13 in 2013 on Side-by-Side Artist Showcase presented by Interharmony Music Festival.

In 2017, she gave a solo recital at Japan Foundation in Tokyo, and in 2012, at the age of 12, performed as a soloist with Japan Classic Orchestra, played Schumann’s Piano Concerto, in Prize winners’ concert of 21th Japan Classic Music competition. She has also played at Blue Rose in Suntory Hall, and Dai-ichi Life Hall, Katsushika Symphony Hills, and Minato Mirai Hall. Until now, took master classes with Pf.Erik T.Tawaststjerna, Pf.William Grant Nabore, Pf.Emanuel Ax, Pf. Piotr Paleczny, Pf. Jone O’Connor, Pf. Soo-Jung Shin, Pf. Mikhail Voskresensky, Pf. Michael Schäfer, and Pf. Jan Gottlib Jiracek.
